STOP Losing Money - Take This Mentoring Makeover

Someone has already done what you want to do: make money, build a home based business, market online, create a stupendous mailing list, provide the best customer service, produce brilliant products, move from employee to business operator, work from home, travel the world,
whatever.

They may not have done it as brilliantly as you are going to, but at this point, if you aren't doing it with their level of success, you need a different approach.

You know the old adage: insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.

This is where you take a fresh look at that old-fashioned practice of mentoring for your home based business or personal life, and give it a makeover - with you as the mentee.

There are two keys to a successful mentoring process:

1. your mentor has to be an outright success in the area in which you need skills upgrading; and
2. you need to copycat the How To your mentor used
or uses to attain that success.

Simple.

Wrong. Lesson number one. People often think mentoring is a slow, 'feeling your way' process where sage advice is given and received to mull over and hopefully osmote into a useful result.

Perhaps that is a comfortable way to proceed, but in an age of lightening fast technological development and change, you also need faster, more direct development methods.

So, I'll repeat the two keys to a successful mentoring process:

1. your mentor has to be an outright success in the area in which you need skills upgrading; and
2. you need to copycat the How To your mentor used or uses to attain that success.

Rock bottom, your mentoring makeover - Part 1 - is to transform it from 'comfortable' mode to 'practical' mode:

? a clear, stated goal,
? How To, action-oriented, easy steps,
? timeframes, and
? reporting.

Essentially in this age of makeovers, mentoring is about moving. Moving from wherever you are now, to success. That is the only reason for its existence. Nice chats, feeling good with each other, trying to impress with knowledge, experience or tall stories - it's all out and direct moving from A to B is it.

Part 2 of your mentoring makeover is to start choosing from the expanded range of mentoring styles now available. These styles take you from the original trad version to a version like speed
dating that will knock your socks off.
