 Rating:  - This is the worst version yet!Ever since version 5, Elements has gone downhill. 6 was too dark, what were they thinking? At least they gave you an adjustment slider in version 7. Version 8 has got to be the most user-unfriendly Adobe program I have used! Save your money. I have used all the versions since version 3 and have found 5 to be a solid workhorse. Shame on you, Adobe for the mess you have made out of Elements. Rating:  - Photo ElementsNice software and lots of features. Would be nice if they included a printed manual. Rating: - It'd be nice to have an instructional manual included....In the past, I used Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 so Elements 8 is quite an upgrade for me. Many of the features included in this program are easy to follow & lots of fun to use. You can read about most of them in Amazon's product description. Others have me stumped. I know I could figure it out if I had enough time. I'd appreciate it if a good manual was included so I can more easily understand the process. But the killer for me is that you can't print in high resolution. The highest it allows is 720,l not enough for professional quality prints. I've owned this for over three months now. I periodically call Adobe (avg. wait time on the phone is over 1 hour) and their answer is always the same; they are aware of the problem but don't know when it will be fixed. Rating: - Daughter loves this program.My daughter had used older versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements but she needed to upgrade with a new program. I ordered Version 8 for her and she loves it.
